Your heart is the doorway to the quality of your love life. The clearer this doorway is, the better your love life will be, and the more cluttered this doorway is, the worse your love life will be. You may not give much thought to your heart even though it is THE organ that keeps you alive without you doing anything about it. However, the truth is your heart is THE most important energetic centre in your body because it connects the lower energy centres that deal with the physical world and the upper energy centres that deal with the spiritual world and guidance. If the lower and upper energy centres are “disconnected” because the heart is congested, you have no way of taking the electrical ideas and guidance of spirit and turning them into magnetic love-attracting action. The result is that you feel alone, unreceptive, confused, stuck, unable to take action, and/or completely paralyzed.
For you to attract a loving relationship, maintain an existing relationship, and/or maintain momentum in your life, you need to be able to know when your heart is burdened or overloaded. There are 8 signs that will help you know that.
#8 – Shallow breathing – Shallow breathing is the main sign that your heart is filled with fear, and so your breath isn’t able to get past your heart and chest and down into your belly. It’s important to know when you’re feeling fear because fear is a sign that you’re out of alignment in some way. The problem is that shallow breathing disconnects you from your guidance, and when you’re feeling fear, the #1 thing that will alleviate that is feeling guided and supported by a much bigger power than yourself, the Universe/God/Source (call it whatever you like). It is your guidance that will let you know which direction to go in, what actions to take, and which person or relationship is for your highest and greatest good.
#7 – Heaviness in the chest – This feels like a block of stone sitting right on top of your chest. It’s kind of like the quiet before the storm. It will inevitably lead to a triggered reaction or lots of crying because it’s a sign that you have emotions that need to be released, yet you are resisting releasing them.
#6 – Fatigue (especially chronic fatigue) – When your heart is full of unprocessed or suppressed emotions, your body will feel heavy. Fatigue is also a sign that you often absorb other people’s energy, thoughts, and emotions, and THIS is a boundaries issue.
#5 – Frequent outbursts of anger or shouting/screaming – This is an indicator of a heart that is quite simply OVERFLOWING with emotions that have been suppressed for a long time. The bucket is full, and you’re still pouring water into it. This is a culmination of longstanding anger, fear and resentment. When you find yourself in the midst of such outbursts, it is vital that you get the help of an energy healer or therapist because these kinds of outbursts are highly damaging to relationships.
#4 – Uncontrollable crying – This is one of the signs of depression and of an incredibly overwhelmed Inner Child. Again, the bucket is full and you’re still pouring water into it. You really, really need to get professional help for this because your adult self has left your Inner Child to cope all on her/his own with an adult relationship or situation.
#3 – Rage – Rage is anger greatly amplified and turned outwards. Rage has a stronger emotional charge than anger. It is a sign that someone is completely unable to process and release their emotions. Anger management is NOT enough because anger management is a band aid. It teaches you to “manage” your emotions but doesn’t teach you how to process them, nor does it deal with uprooting their underlying causes. It is very important to seek the help of an energy healer if you are experiencing rage on a regular basis.
#2 – Depression – This is anger turned inwards. A depressed heart feels joyless, unmotivated, and disinterested. The physical signs include sleeping long hours, fatigue, crying, overeating (for some people) or not eating enough, isolating oneself from others, and refusing help. Anti-depressants are a coping mechanism. They do NOT address the underlying causes of depression, and they become a life-long crutch. Again, please seek professional help for this because depression is a heavy burden on an existing relationship, and it definitely doesn’t help you in attracting a new one.
#1 – Inability to cry – An inability to cry is by far the biggest indicator of a deeply congested heart that is holding a whole lot of suppressed emotions. This is a CLOSED heart that CANNOT attract love or be intimate. An inability to cry is also a sign that you have a very strong “Controller” running your life. The Controller is one of the sub-personalities of the EGO. It comes into being early on in your life to help you cope with a chaotic environment. It’s a great survival mechanism; however, it very much works against you in your adult relationships. A person with a heart that is full of suppressed emotions comes across as a cold or indifferent person, and neither coldness nor indifference attract or keep love.
Your emotions are your guidance system, and they need to be able to flow with ease and harmony. They let you know what you’re thinking and how aligned you are with the different aspects of your relationship or relationship search. Your thoughts give rise to your emotions, and when you find yourself experiencing negative emotions, you know that you’re thinking negative thoughts. Negative thoughts and emotions affect your ability to show up fully in a relationship, cloud your ability to make decisions about your relationship, and can keep you stuck in a very unproductive or unhealthy place for a long time. This is why it is important to recognize the signs of a heart that is carrying more negative emotions than it can handle at one time. Releasing those negative emotions is like opening the doors and windows to air a room. You let the stale air out and let fresh air in. The fresh air is uplifting and allows you to love and think with clarity and focus. It creates movement of air in the room just as releasing suppressed emotions creates movement in your love life.
If any of these 8 signs apply to you, I recommend that you come in for a Learning Path session in which the first root cause of these emotions will be cleared and the negative emotions will be released. You will get a very clear understanding of what these emotions are, where they come from, and how long you’ve had them. Within 3-4 days of the session, you’ll feel lighter, mentally clearer, and you’ll find it much easier to make decisions and take action in your love life.
